Register as a business owner

Required business information

• Business Name
• ABN/ACN
• Trading Name (if applicable)
• Business Address within the Darwin CBD program area
• Contact Person
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Bank Account Details (for payment purposes if approved)

The business must hold an active ABN registered in Australia. ABN details may be validated against publicly available Australian Business Register information.

Supporting documentation

Upload one supporting document that confirms both the business name and business address.

Accepted documents may include:

• Utility bill
• Commercial lease agreement
• Council rates notice
• Business bank statement
• Supplier invoice addressed to the business
• Insurance certificate
• Financial statement

Supporting documentation must:

• Display the business name;
• Display the business address;
• Demonstrate the business was operating at least six (6) months prior to the application date

Annual turnover verification

Upload evidence demonstrating that the business annual turnover for the most recently completed financial year does not exceed $10 million.

Suitable evidence may include:

• Most recent financial statements
• Business Activity Statements (BAS)
• Accountant letter
• Tax return
• Profit and Loss Statement

Business location verification

Provide the location of your shopfront within the Darwin CBD program area by dropping a pin on the map.

Eligibility statements

By selecting Start Registration, you acknowledge that you will be required to provide supporting documentation confirming:

• Business Address
• Operation of the business for at least six (6) months

Supporting documentation must be dated at least six (6) months before the application date.
